He secured fifth place in the Web.com Tour regular season rankings in 2018, which led to his advancement to the PGA Tour.

During the 2021 Waste Management Phoenix Open, Lee tied for second place, finishing one stroke behind the champion, Brooks Koepka. In the same year, Lee won his first PGA Tour event at the 2021 AT&T Byron Nelson, scoring 25-under-par and defeating Sam Burns by three strokes. One year later, Lee retained his championship at the AT&T Byron Nelson, scoring 26-under-par; finishing one shot ahead of Jordan Spieth.
